Call for Interpreters

The CIT 2008 conference planning committee is accepting applications for conference interpreters.

RID Certified interpreters who have at least CI and CT, CSC, NAD level IV or V, NIC, NIC Advanced or Master,
Letter of interest stating full time work
Resume highlighting conference and platform interpreting experience.
10 minute work product samples, of both expressive and receptive work. Can be of mock scenario but should be continuous sample (should reflect conference level presentation material).
References from:
- Conference coordinator of event related to sign language/interpreting
- Colleague with whom you've worked at a conference related to sign language/interpreting
Must provide an email address, email will be utilized for all communication.
Send copy of certification. All applicants are to be members in good standing with RID and will be required to adhere to the NAD/RID Code of Professional Conduct.

Full time interpreters will receive an hourly rate
Reimbursement for Travel up to $250.00
Individuals that are applying for full time positions will have Registration fee waived.
Half of the double occupancy hotel room rate will be reimbursed for those interpreters whose working schedule requires an overnight stay.
