The only award made by CIT is named in honor of Mary Stotler, a founding member and former Board member of CIT. Mary was an interpreter and interpreter educator in Seattle, WA, greatly revered by the Deaf Community. The award is made jointly with RID. The 2006 award was presented at the luau in San Diego to Anna Witter-Merithew for her seemingly limitless service to interpreter education. CIT extends both congratulations and gratitude to Anna, this very deserving recipient of the Mary Stotler Award. |
