Director, Gallaudet Interpreting Service
Gallaudet University is seeking an adaptive leader to fill the position of Director of Gallaudet Interpreting Service. Gallaudet Interpreting Service, GIS, was established in 1990 and has become an internationally renowned interpreting agency. The new Director of GIS will be tasked with assisting GIS accomplish its mission of providing diverse communication access needs and to continue to shine as a model of excellence in interpreting and captioning service provision.

Master’s degree with a minimum eight years of leadership experience in interpreting services (Bachelor’s degree with a minimum ten years may be considered). Supervisory, budgetary, and program management experience required. Fluent sign language skills required at the time of hire.
